Retrön is a band with a weird past! They started out as a video game with buffalos, swirling knives, naked indians and mythical creatures. Retron was the name of the main character, a time travelling robot in search of his creator. The band was born after an offer to play the music from the game live. Not wanting to bring laptops and pretending to rock, Retrön decided to bring out the guitarsenal, amp-o-mania and death by synthesizers to completely rip to shreds any expectations the audience might have of such a soundtrack. Retrön are known for loud, energetic live shows with epileptic eye candy. They recently put out their first full length album, Swordplay and Guitarslay. Here they perform "Iron Goblet" at the art gallery "Kling & Bang" in Reykjavik.
